Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule

36 or 48 hours per week, rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights), including weekends and holidays, with on-call and callback responsibilities.

Assignment Details

This role is within a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department managing a high volume of patient visits annually.

Requirements

• RN License (New York license only)
• Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel Emergency Department experience
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), ACLS (American Heart Association only), NIHSS

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations in the emergency department.
• Assist with managing border patients as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Participate in continuous education and training to enhance clinical skills.
