Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12 hours (06:00 - 16:00). Weekend requirement to meet staffing needs.

Assignment Details

Start date: ASAP. Float to meet facility needs.

Requirements

• CA state license required; no pending licenses accepted.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• 20 visits per day.
• Unit contains 11 rooms/15 beds with an average daily census of 15-20.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist in providing high-risk obstetrical care.
• Actively participate in patient assessment and care planning.
• Manage patient flow and assist with cesarean sections as required.
• Support a culturally diverse patient population.
