Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state required.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Charge nurse experience preferred; willing to train as charge.
• Ability to float to similar units if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
