Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule

13-week assignment. Day shifts available with options for 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour schedules. Shift start times can vary between 06:45 - 19:15 or 09:00 - 21:30.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours of 60 hours per 2 weeks. Clinicians may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks. Limited on-call coverage for call-offs only. Weekend shifts required. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered as locals are not accepted.

Requirements

• Current AK RN license required.
• 2 years of experience in the operating room.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.
• Skills per unit description required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room environment.
• Assist in surgical procedures as part of the surgical team.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
