Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15).

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Maximum RTO: 7 days. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted with required experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems preferred.
• Familiarity with high respiratory patient needs, including Hiflow, CPAP, BIPAP, and wound care management.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult to geriatric patients, including those with infectious diseases.
• Administer medications and monitor patient well-being.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize appropriate technology and equipment in patient care.
• Document patient care and ensure compliance with facility policies.
