Registered Nurse – Step Down

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length of 13 weeks with guaranteed hours. Sign for either 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Pending licenses accepted.
• Experience with common surgical procedures for cardiac patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult patients recovering from cardiac surgeries.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health maintenance.
• Assist in planning and implementing individualized patient care plans.
