Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

4x12-Hour Day Shift (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience required.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active RN license (pending licenses accepted).
• Experience with medical/surgical nursing, including trauma care, blood product administration, and EKG interpretation.
• Familiarity with charting in EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with surgical and trauma diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including response to treatments.
• Assist with medical procedures and documentation.
• Implement and manage care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and medications.

Compliance / Notes

Maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract. If shifts are missed, clinicians are expected to work to make them up as soon as possible. Parking details will be provided upon orientation.
