Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). 4 weekend shifts per month, with mandatory on-call duty twice a month.

Assignment Details

This is a 13-week contract position.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Must have Epic experience.
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced.
• Skills: Use of external fetal monitoring, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, circulate for C-section.
• Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health.
• Assist in labor and delivery procedure.
• Collaborate with healthcare team using SBAR communication.

Compliance / Notes

RTO must be included in submission. No RTO the first two weeks. One holiday RTO submission allowed but not guaranteed. Must work most holidays. RTO is capped at 3 days maximum.
