Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Float

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Assignment Details

Contract length: 26 weeks

Minimum 36 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must be able to float to Med-Surg and other telemetry units
• No background and license hits accepted
• Epic experience required
• Must have ventilator experience
• Must be able to read cardiac strips
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Monitoring telemetry (unit and remote)
• Utilize rapid response teams as required
• Provide care for post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post cardiac cath, and pre/post cardiac surgery patients
• Administer blood products and manage central/PICC lines
• Implement heparin protocols and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Provide care for chronic/long-term ventilated patients and manage chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, and tracheostomies

Compliance / Notes

Must provide time off requests (RTO) upon submittal; no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment. Once RTO is submitted, it cannot be changed unless to cancel requested time off.
