Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). Must work weekends and 3 out of 5 holidays.

Assignment Details

This is a float position within the ICU Float Pool, which includes floating to medical/surgical, telemetry, PCU, overflow units, and PACU as needed.

Requirements

• Active CA RN License
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• PA Line and Swan Ganz experience required
• Flu vaccine required, no declinations accepted
• Experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger for first-time travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions accurately and swiftly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Compliance / Notes

The EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation. Must pass to proceed with the contract. No scheduling requests can be accommodated, and there is a maximum of 7 days RTO. No requests for time off within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
