Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Schedule

0700-1930 shifts available; 36 or 48 hours per week; weekend work required.

Assignment Details

This is a float position, requiring rotation to medical-surgical, telemetry, PCU, overflow, and PACU units as needed. Must work 3 out of 5 holidays during the assignment.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Experience in a 400 bed or larger facility
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations
• Must have PA Line and Swan Ganz experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and reactions to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records

Compliance / Notes

Orientation includes an EKG exam that must be passed to continue with the contract. No scheduling requests can be accommodated within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
