Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Schedule

Shift: 0700-1930, 36 or 48 hours available. Weekend and floating requirements apply. No scheduling requests can be accommodated, and no time off within the first two weeks of the assignment.

Assignment Details

Active CA RN license required. Must work 3 out of 5 holidays.

Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• Experience in a 400+ bed facility required.
• PA Line and Swan Ganz experience is required.
• Flu vaccine required; no declinations accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Float to medical-surgical, telemetry, PCU, overflow, and PACU units as needed.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
