Registered Nurse – Chemo

Schedule

Shift: 8HR Days - 07:45 - 17:15, 40 hours can be offered.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks. Call requirement: None. Weekend requirement: No weekends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Oncology-specific experience.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Central line experience required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ONS Chemo/Bio required.
• Preferred Certification: OCN.
• Experience with Pyxis and Epic preferred.
• Must bring own stethoscope.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy to patients.
• Provide care to adult patients with Hematology and Medical Oncology diagnoses.
• Utilize ambulatory infusion pumps for patient treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Compliance / Notes

Pre-shift COVID screening required. Unit orientation lasts 8 hours and varies by skill level; the traveler must be available for classes each day. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue required.
