Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend commitment.

Assignment Details

Census may require floating to other units. Minimal RTO is preferred.

Requirements

• 1 year of Emergency Room experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV insertion is essential.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Must be able to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and perform various emergency procedures.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in a general emergency department for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines.
• Handle emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and perform procedural sedation.
• Maintain isolation precautions and provide care to patients with various acutities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
