Assignment Details

Every other weekend, floating required when census warrants.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and placing IVs
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Ratios: 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels

Responsibilities

• General Emergency Department care for combined adult and pediatric patients
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Blood product administration and central line care/management
• Starting IVs and administering emergency medications
• Procedural sedation administration and continuous IV sedation
