3 PM - 3 AM, Every other weekend

Assignment Details

1 year of experience required; first-timers accepted. Mixed/shared acuity levels with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement required
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a general emergency department setting for both adult and pediatric patients
• Analyze and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Perform procedural sedation and administer emergency medications, including IV vasopressors
• Ensure isolation precautions and management of patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure
