Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Shift hours: 7a-7p/7p-7a, 13 weeks contract. Weekend requirement: Every other. Holiday requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday if needed.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours/week: Not specified. The client may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

Requirements

• Must have an active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Clinical skills in IV therapy, ventilator management, and emergency care.
• Willingness to float within skillset as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for adult patients, including trauma and medical emergencies.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV medications and manage IV therapies.
• Handle triage and perform isolation precautions as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
