Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Shift hours: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Contract Length: 13 weeks; Weekend Requirement: Every other; Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.

Assignment Details

Call off Policy: The facility may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

Requirements

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• EPIC experience required
• Clinical skills in IV therapy, CPAP/BiPAP ventilation management, stroke and trauma care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care.
• Experience with isolation precautions, triage, and pediatric spinal cord injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac and neurological status.
• Assist with procedures and interventions in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
