Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Shift hours: 7p-7a; Contract Length: 13 weeks. Weekend Requirement: Every Other. Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours/week: 36 hours. Call off Policy: The facility may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

Requirements

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Clinical skills in IV therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, stroke, neuro-trauma, CVA, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Monitor and manage patients with critical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Perform assessments and triage patients effectively.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
