Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Shift hours: 7a-7p/7p-7a, Weekend requirement: Every other, Holiday requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday if needed.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks, Call off policy: The facility may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

Requirements

• Active New York Single State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC experience required
• Clinical skills in IV therapy, ventilator management, stroke care, cardiac monitoring, emergency care, isolation precautions, and triage

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and healthcare strategies
