Registered Nurse – Critical Care Float

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required. Flexibility in schedule is necessary; no block schedule requests accepted.

Assignment Details

Contract length is flexible and guaranteed hours per week are based on unit needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Full compliance required to start on time.
• Must adhere to RTO guidelines with a maximum of 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a float pool capacity.
• Float between the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU units as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and provide appropriate interventions based on nursing standards of practice.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes

If any major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work them as scheduled. Orientation will be based on contract length and full compliance is required for timely start.
