Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 8 to 19 weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers accepted
• Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• EMR System: Epic (Required)
• Unit-Specific Skills: Telemetry with diagnoses including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and discharge planning
• Respond to changes in patient conditions and take appropriate action
