Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule

Monday to Friday with rotating weekend shifts as determined by the department.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Registered Nursing license.
• Certification in BLS.
• Must have general OR and trauma experience.
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
• Must be available for on-call duties: 1-2 weekdays and 2 weekends per 13 weeks.
• Pending licenses accepted.
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Assist in trauma and emergency surgical procedures as needed.
