Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

Night shifts, 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00).

Assignment Details

36 or 48 hour contract options available. Patient ratios are 1:6. Float to units of equal acuity. 6 weekend shifts required in a 6 week period.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• First time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a medical surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families regarding health care needs and outcomes.
