Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00. Requires 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.

Assignment Details

Options for 36 or 48 hours per week. The unit accepts first-time travelers and has patient ratios of 1:6. Floating to units of equal acuity may be required.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be located within a 50-mile local radius; locals are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge plans
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
