Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Neuro

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00). 6 weekend shifts required within 6 weeks.

Assignment Details

36 or 48 hour contracts available; anything over 48 hours is considered overtime.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (CPI preferred)
• 1 year of recent experience in a medical surgical neuro setting
• Experience with Epic charting
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6
• Willingness to float to similar units

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro patients
• Monitor patient condition and report changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in rapid response team activation as needed
