Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Neuro

Schedule

Day shifts 4x12 hours from 06:30 to 19:00. Six weekend shifts required within six weeks.

Assignment Details

This position offers a 36 or 48-hour workweek option; hours exceeding 48 will be considered overtime. The unit has 32 beds.

Requirements

• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred.
• 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting required.
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:6.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Experience with Epic charting is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical neuro unit.
• Participate in activating the rapid response team as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient health status and document accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
