Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00).

Assignment Details

Contract length may exceed 13 weeks if desired. Floating between units is required, with 48 hours approved per week.

Requirements

• 2+ years of NICU experience required; Level III experience preferred.
• Ability to self-schedule with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
• Expected patient ratios: 1:2-4.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates and infants in a Level IV NICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families on care protocols and discharge planning.
