Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Float

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Floating required to all medical-surgical units within the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Patient population: adults to geriatrics.
• Certifications required: BLS.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is mandatory.
• Willingness to float to different units and potential for floating to a partner facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient assessments and care in the electronic medical record.
