Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15. Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week for 3-12 hour shifts.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience managing cardiac drips and caring for high-risk telemetry patients, including those post-TAVR, catheterization, and CABG/VATS.
• Central line management and sheath pulls required.
• Charting experience with EPIC required.
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Locals accepted within a 75-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring their vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips as per protocols.
• Perform sheath pulls and central line management as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and safety measures.
