Registered Nurse – Cardiac Tele

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Assignment Details

1 year minimum experience required; first timers accepted. Contract lengths and non-billable orientation hours vary based on duration.

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience with adult to geriatric patients.
• Skills: Post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, peripheral vascular disease, peritoneal dialysis, telemetry, EKG, Doppler.
• EMR System: Epic (required).
• Floating within the facility as needed.
• Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time; failure to do so may delay the start by 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and manage telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health management.

Compliance / Notes

RTO: Maximum of 7 days. Blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4th-12th). Major holiday work may be required, details provided during orientation.
