MS RN – Medical-Surgical

Schedule

36-hour day shifts; weekends required.

Assignment Details

Patient ratios: 1:6. Float required to units of equal or lesser acuity.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS.
• Travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities.
• Manage patients post-surgical interventions related to renal and urological conditions.
• Perform tasks such as catheter irrigations, bladder scans, and incontinence procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and provide effective communication to medical staff and families.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and facility protocols during patient care.
