Long Term Care LPN

We are seeking a dedicated Long Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate assignment in the Seattle, WA area. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a long-term care and transitional care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, maintaining quality standards.
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and perform blood draws and dressing changes.
• Float between various units as required, typically spending 3 shifts/24 hours in transitional care units.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Net Solutions for charting.

Requirements

• Two years of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience is required.
• Must hold a valid BCLS certification.
• First-time travelers are not accepted; a minimum of one year of travel experience is required.
• Availability to work every other weekend is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is essential, preferably with personal vehicle usage.

Work Schedule

This position involves 8-hour day shifts. The facility offers flexibility with block scheduling and allows for local hires within a 50-mile radius at the same rate.

Additional Information

• No more than 3 days of request time off (RTO) are permitted during the assignment.
• The facility may call off the traveler for up to one shift per pay period.
• Business casual attire is required, adhering to specific dress code guidelines. Scent-free and natural nails only.
