Home Health Aide (HHA) - Waterbury, CT

There For You Home Care Services a Division of UniversaCare is hiring certified Home Health Aides in Waterbury, CT and surrounding towns. As a Medicare-certified home health agency (CT DPH License 9915730), our aides work under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist to help patients recover and stay safe at home. Full-time and part-time schedules, weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance
• Assist with exercises and activities assigned by the nurse or therapist
• Take and record vital signs; observe and report changes in condition
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication reminders
• Document each visit accurately in our clock-in app

Requirements

• Connecticut Home Health Aide certification or CNA on the Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• Prior home care or facility experience preferred
• Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Ability to pass a background check

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, paid weekly.
