Home Health Aide (HHA) – Fort Salonga, NY

Pay: $19.65 per hour
Location: Fort Salonga, NY
Job Type: Home Health Care
Schedule: As assigned

The HHA will assist clients with daily activities while promoting their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Remind clients to take medications as directed by their healthcare provider.
  • Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
  • Follow the client's care plan and all agency policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client.
  • Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Valid New York State HHA Certificate required.
  • Minimum 1 year of HHA experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
