Current Opening & Schedules

Westlake – Westside Cuyahoga

• Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Care Needs: Assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility and transfers, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

• Preference: Male caregiver requested for this client.

Availability may vary by client assignment. Please indicate your preferred location and schedule when applying.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Provide safe mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.

• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders according to the care plan.

• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other essential household tasks as assigned.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and respectful personal care.

• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.

• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate care team.

• Follow individualized care plans, agency policies, and safety protocols.

• Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• At least one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience preferred.

• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.

• Current CPR certification.

• Negative TB test or chest X-ray in accordance with agency requirements.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.

• Ability to assist with client mobility and lift up to 50 pounds as required.

• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.

• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
