Full Time & Part Time Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)/Caregiver

Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking a Full-Time Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)/Caregiver. We have immediate openings in Hunterdon and Warren County across multiple shifts (morning, daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, etc).

Qualifications:

• CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) certification valid in NJ
• Driver's License. Experienced driver with a reliable vehicle
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
• Excellent communication skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Willingness to travel between multiple counties

Responsibilities:

• Willing to assist in a home care setting
• Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary
• Lift and carry up to 40lbs. of equipment for extended periods of time
• Walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• Assisting the client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
