CNA / Nurse Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care in a Long-Term Care setting. This position demands a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with the administration of medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Participate in resident care planning and contribute to effective communication with family members.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related setting.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Must be able to work alternating 36 and 48 hour shifts, including night shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
• Flu vaccine is required; medical exemptions will be considered.

Contract Details

• Start date: Any Monday, approximately 3-4 weeks from offer.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Scrub color: Any.
