Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care for residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and possess relevant experience within Minnesota nursing homes.

Shift Details

• Rotating Day/Night shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m., 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Qualifications

• Current MN CNA License required at time of application
• At least 2 years of experience in Minnesota nursing homes
• BLS Certification required
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) documentation system is necessary

Work Environment

• Unit Capacity: 40 beds/residents
• Patient Ratios: RNs - Days: 1:20, Nights: 1:40; CNAs - 1:10
• Common Diagnoses: CHF, COPD, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Diabetes
• Minimal IV medication administration
• Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere

Orientation

New hires will undergo 2-4 days of unit/department-specific orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the team.

Additional Information

Applicants must adhere to a radius rule of 50 miles and will not be considered if they have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any related facility in the past year. Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront as additional requests will not be accommodated.
