Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Title: Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) / Clinic Nurse – Outpatient Practice.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver comprehensive professional nursing care within an outpatient specialty clinic environment. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans independently under general medical direction. You will also delegate tasks to and guide clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Patient Care: Perform clinical assessments, develop and execute nursing care plans, and deliver direct care to clinic patients across specialty services.
• Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications, therapeutic treatments, and clinical procedures in strict adherence to clinic protocols and safety standards.
• Clinical Team Leadership: Delegate clinical tasks, direct clinical support staff (LPNs, Medical Assistants), and foster a collaborative team environment with physicians and mid-level providers.
• Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment regimens, preventive care, and health maintenance to promote optimal wellness.
• Documentation & Advocacy: Maintain precise, timely medical records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; advocate for patient needs while maintaining strict confidentiality (HIPAA).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Clinical Experience: Minimum 1+ years of post-licensure RN nursing experience in a clinical or outpatient practice setting [Required]. (Note: Post-licensure experience required; new graduate candidates cannot be considered at this time).

Licensure:

• Active, unrestricted State Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License [Required].

Certifications:

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification [Required].

Core Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and equipment; excellent delegation and interpersonal skills; and strong clinical judgment in high-volume outpatient settings.
