A Better Solution in Home Care is hiring Caregivers (HCA/CNA) for afternoon and evening shifts on Camano Island!
We are looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who are available later in the day and enjoy providing personalized, one-on-one care in a client’s home.
If you’re looking for afternoon or evening hours, whether to add to your current schedule or build a consistent caregiving schedule, we would love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do Responsibilities will vary based on each client’s individual care plan and may include:

• Personal care assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Mobility, transfers, and ambulation assistance
• Meal preparation and mealtime support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Errands and household assistance
• Companionship and meaningful interaction
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or needs
• Completing required shift documentation
• Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home

What We’re Looking For

• Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or currently working toward certification as permitted by Washington State requirements
• Availability for afternoon and/or evening shifts
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Dependable and comfortable traveling to clients on Camano Island
• Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to caregiving
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to meet Washington State background and employment requirements
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Previous caregiving experience is helpful, but we encourage qualified caregivers at different experience levels to apply
