Position Details Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift Start: 8:00 AM
Location: Carol Stream, Illinois
What You'll Do As a trusted member of our caregiving team, you'll provide personalized care that enhances your client's independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities include:
- Deliver compassionate one-on-one home care tailored to the client's individual needs.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Support safe mobility, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining an organized living space.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to promote overall well-being.
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the office and care team.
- Complete accurate documentation while following all agency care standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNA certification is preferred but not required for qualified caregivers.
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Private Duty Caregiver.
- Experience providing senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, companion care, personal care, or in-home care services.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in the client's home.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Current Auto Insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
