Experienced CNA / Advanced Caregiver | North Idaho & Spokane area

Great care starts with a great team—and some clients need caregivers with a higher level of experience, confidence, and skill.

Care to Stay Home is looking for experienced CNAs and advanced caregivers who are comfortable providing hands-on care and want the opportunity to build meaningful, one-on-one relationships with their clients.

Our reputation and recognition have been built by caregivers who show up, know what they’re doing, and take pride in doing it well.

If you’ve worked hard to become an exceptional caregiver, we want to meet you.

Why Experienced Caregivers Choose Care to Stay Home

Put Your Skills to Work
Your experience matters. We have clients who benefit from caregivers who are confident with transfers, mobility assistance, personal care, bedbound care, range-of-motion exercises, fall prevention, and more complex daily care needs.

One Client.
Step away from the constant rush of caring for multiple residents at once. In home care, you have the opportunity to focus on one client, learn their routines, recognize subtle changes, and provide thoughtful, individualized care.

Consistent Client Relationships
Whenever possible, we build long-term assignments. Instead of constantly starting over, you can learn your client's needs, establish trust, and become an important part of their care team.

Quality Hours
We work to build schedules around meaningful assignments rather than filling your week with short, fragmented visits.

Your Experience Is Recognized
We value caregivers who demonstrate excellent judgment, reliability, communication, and strong hands-on skills. We want experienced caregivers to have opportunities to take on greater responsibility as they demonstrate what they can do.

A Place to Grow
Interested in doing more? Advanced training, mentorship opportunities, Lead Caregiver responsibilities, and future leadership pathways may be available for caregivers who consistently demonstrate the skills and professionalism we're looking for.

The Skills We're Looking For

Our higher-care clients may need assistance with:

• Safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility
• Gait belts, wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment
• Bedbound and limited-mobility care
• Bathing, toileting, grooming, and complete personal care
• Range-of-motion and prescribed exercise routines
• Fall prevention and home safety
• Nutrition, hydration, and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Recognizing and reporting changes in condition
• Accurate care documentation
• Communication with families and the care team
• Maintaining dignity and independence during hands-on care

Who We're Looking For

We're especially interested in caregivers who:

• Hold a current CNA/NAC or HCA credential
• Have strong hands-on caregiving experience
• Are comfortable working with clients who have higher levels of care
• Know how to work independently and make good decisions within the plan of care
• Notice changes and communicate concerns promptly
• Are confident with transfers and mobility assistance
• Take documentation seriously
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and coworkers
• Are dependable and punctual
• Want consistency and long-term client relationships
• Take genuine pride in being excellent at what they do

Reliability Is Part of Being a Great Caregiver

Skills matter—but so does showing up.

Our clients and their families depend on us, and we depend on one another. We're looking for professionals who understand that excellent care means being skilled, compassionate, prepared, and reliable.

Come see what you can build with Care to Stay Home.
