School Nurse (RN)

Overview:
Our school district is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care to a single student throughout the school day. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on a child's daily health and educational success within a stable, supportive school-based environment.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:15 PM
  • Follows the school calendar, with time off during school holidays, vacations, and closures
• Competitive pay: $40.00–$45.00/hour (DOE)
• One-on-one nursing care for a single pediatric student

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a student throughout the school day
• Administer medications and monitor for seizure activity
• Perform G-tube feedings and provide routine G-tube care
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor changes in the student's condition
• Assist with transfers, standing, toileting, mobility, and overall student safety
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and support the student's individualized healthcare needs

Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience
• Experience with G-tubes, seizure management, and medically complex pediatric patients preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable providing dedicated one-on-one pediatric care in a school setting
