Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

**TITLE:** Registered Nurse – OR **SCHEDULE:** Wednesdays **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:** - Contract Weeks: 1 - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **REQUIREMENTS:** - Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher - Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure - BLS and ACLS required - PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric services - Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR required for full-time or part-time roles; minimum two years for PRN roles **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Assess and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. - Formulate and implement a plan of care that includes patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care. - Evaluate the patient's and family's response to care, adjusting plans as necessary in collaboration with health care team members. - Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the health care team, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards. - Document all aspects of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care accurately and in a timely manner. - Participate in the education and orientation of personnel, patients, and families, promoting growth through mentoring when appropriate. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES:** - Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements. - Provides excellent service to all customers, consistently demonstrating core and leader behaviors.
