Job Summary
TranscendED is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina. This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week, ideal for a nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic setting focused on healing and recovery while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. The RN will ensure timely follow-through on all physician orders and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive client care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly nursing visits at the residential facility
- Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Perform admission nursing assessments
- Monitor and record weekly vitals
- Administer medications as needed
- MAR management
- Coordinate follow-up for medical orders, including labs, EKGs, and other appointments with Psychiatrist, PMHNP, FNP
- Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care
- Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meeting
- Provide nursing consultation as needed
- Facilitate a weekly self-care/hygiene group
- Administer first aid/body checks PRN
Qualifications
- RN or LPN in good standing in North Carolina
- Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices
- Proficient in medication administration and use
- Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Credentialing & Physical Requirements
- Credentialing is required; details provided upon application
- Must be physically able to perform standard RN duties as needed
