**TITLE**
Registered Nurse – Operating Room
**SCHEDULE**
Shift: 6:30 AM - 3 PM, Monday - Friday, with call
**ASSIGNMENT DETAILS**
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program
- Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma
- BSN preferred
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services.
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure adherence to surgical standards of nursing practice.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including pain assessment and management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in patient care planning and implementation.
- Maintain knowledge of sterile techniques and implement age-specific care.
- Support and participate in departmental training and orientation activities.
**COMPLIANCE / NOTES**
- Attend departmental orientation (training).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in the assessment of patient/family needs.
