Registered Nurse (RN) - Newborn Nursery

**Title:** Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby Couplet Care **Schedule:** 12H Rotating (Day/Night) **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 4 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **Requirements:** - AHA BLS and NRP required - AHA ACLS preferred - Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required - Experience in either a large (500+) facility or teaching facility - EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable - Prior travel experience is highly preferred - Antepartum experience preferred with openness to being in a charge role **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and their newborns. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. - Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care practices. - Assist in managing patient admissions and discharges. - Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. **Compliance / Notes:** - Requires explanation for any employment gaps over 90 days - Orientation held bi-weekly on Mondays - All work history information required for submission - Reliable transportation is necessary; public transportation is not accessible in this area
