**TITLE**
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
**SCHEDULE**
Mid-shift, 11:00am - 11:30pm, with rotating weekends
**ASSIGNMENT DETAILS**
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 6
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- ENPC, TNCC, TNS preferred
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with specialists as needed.
- Adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the Emergency Department.
- Meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care, addressing communication needs of patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic study results.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment responses.
