Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

**Title:** Pre-Op/PACU RN - Nursing **Schedule:** Shift: 3x12s, 9am-9pm **Assignment Details:** - Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Contract Length: 13 weeks **Requirements:** - Current RN License - Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills in preoperative and postoperative care - Experience with medication administration and infusion titration - Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interpretation of telemetry - Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including review of medical history and lab results. - Administer medications and infusions safely per provider orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia and post-procedural recovery phases. - Provide patient and family education regarding preparatory and recovery processes. - Collaborate with surgical and anesthesiology teams to ensure patient safety and effective care transitions. - Maintain meticulous clinical documentation for all phases of patient care.
